Past Conferences at the CHS
The CHS presents a variety of conferences and collaborative events on an annual basis. We at the CHS are committed to developing new models and methods for academic conferences, the dissemination of research, and collaborative projects. Therefore we are most interested in proposals that foster a more creative dialogue and move beyond a formal presentation of papers mediated only by moderators and respondents. Possible components of a conference might be a workshop format (especially one that includes collaboration among participants even before an event as well as during and after), using various means of electronic communication, and methods of dissemination that will bring research to a broad audience. The CHS is much more willing to invest its resources in such innovative ways of producing and publishing new ideas and findings.
